Join the League
When you become a member of the League of Women Voters of Coastal Georgia (LWVCGA), you also become a member of our National (LWVUS) and State (LWVGA) organizations.
Your membership dues support the important work of the League at all levels of government including:
- Advocating for voting rights, fair elections and many other important issues.
- Registering and educating voters through forums, seminars, and articles.
- Litigating in support of voting rights.
We welcome all members and offer levels of membership to allow for a range of financial commitment.
The League of Women Voters of Coastal Georgia is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.
Membership Levels
$125 Household Membership
You pay $48 to the LWVUS, $34.50 to the LWVGA and $42.40 to LWVCGA. This covers our obligations to the National and State Leagues, helps to sponsor discounted memberships and gives us operating funds.
$100 Individual Sponsoring Membership
You pay $32 to LWVUS, $23 to LWVGA, and $45 to LWVCGA. This covers our obligations to the National and State Leagues, helps to sponsor discounted memberships and gives us operating funds.
$75 Individual Member
You pay $32 to LWVUS, $23 to LWVGA, and $20 to LWVCGA.
$35 Individual Discounted Member
You pay a portion of the dues to LWVUS and LWVGA. The remainder comes from donations.
Free Student Membership
Full-time students aged 16 and older receive full membership at no charge.
